FAQ

New releases of the FAQ module have been made - versions 5.x-2.11 and 6.x-1.7. There aren't many changes in these releases. It's mainly bug fixes. The only significant change is that now the layouts are separated out into their own include files and are only loaded as needed. This should improve performance.

New features added include:

• FAQ layouts separated out into include files, which should help improve performance.
• Updated German translations.

New releases of the FAQ module have been made - versions 5.x-2.10 and 6.x-1.6. There were quite a number of changes in these releases. By far the biggest change was to the structure and layout of the code. The module had grown so much since I first started working on the project that it was getting very complex, difficult to maintain and basically just unwieldy. Each new feature required the same change to be made in multiple locations! Hence the need to rewrite a lot of it. It's now more modular and much easier to modify.

I've spent the best part of the last week catching up on emails, blogs and my Drupal modules' issue queues! I had 500 email threads (note, the use of the word threads, not individual emails!) to read, and that's not including mailing lists and work related mail. Sheesh, I'm glad that's over. I'm also glad to say that issue queues for my Drupal projects are back down to manageable levels now. So if I haven't responded to your queries already, it won't be much longer, I promise!
