Drupalcon
DrupalCon SF session proposal: Coder Module: Easily Port Modules to Drupal 7
Time is flying by. There is now only 7 weeks to go to DrupalCon San Francisco! I'm really looking forward to it I have to admit. Although I've visited the US a fair bit, I've never been to the west coast, not to mind say San Francisco. Dermot is coming over with me this time, and we're planning on taking an extra week to travel around and do some sightseeing. We're also going to visit a good friend of mine, Aimee, in LA, and then travel back up to Sacremento to visit other friends.

Two weeks after heading off to the US and I'm finally back home in Ireland. Drupalcon DC was fantastic and, while I'm glad to be home, part of me wishes it didn't have to end so soon! Twice a year it tantalises me with 4 days of non-stop Drupal talk, learning loads of cool stuff and hanging out with some really amazing people. No wonder I quit my job after Drupalcon Szeged and started working with Drupal full time - it's just an awesome community!
Some of the highlights of Drupalcon DC for me were:

Drupalcon Szeged was absolutely fantastic! If you haven't been to a Drupalcon yet I would totally recommend it. One of the best things was I could finally put faces to the nicks who I've encountered over the past two years on IRC and drupal.org. There were also some really fantastic presentations - my only problem there were too many which I wanted to see! Thankfully, it was really well organised and all of the main presentations are now available to watch on http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/program/sessions
